Adam Received the Holy Ghost

 February 23 — Moses 5:9 “And in that day the Holy Ghost fell upon Adam, which beareth record of the Father and the Son, saying: I am the Only Begotten of the Father from the beginning, henceforth and forever, that as thou hast fallen thou mayest be redeemed, and all mankind, even as many as will.”

John 14:16-17 “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; ¹⁷ Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.”

As for Joe Smith’s writings we have to ask the obvious.

Really?

How could Adam receive the Holy Ghost? Jesus hadn’t been born and He hadn’t told His disciples about God’s Holy Spirit who would reside inside of the believer.

Oh, be still my heart!

The sad part about all this is that Mormons will believe this lie. Please share with them that Adam didn’t have the Holy Ghost!
