Did God Create or Organize the Earth?

Mosiah 5:15; “Therefore, I would that ye should be steadfast and immovable, always abounding in good works, that Christ, the Lord God Omnipotent, may seal you his, that you may be brought to heaven, that ye may have everlasting salvation and eternal life, through the wisdom, and power, and justice, and mercy of him who created all things, in heaven and in earth, who is God above all. Amen.”

Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, pg. 372; “The head God organized the heavens and the earth. I defy all the world to refute me. In the beginning the heads of the Gods organized the heavens and the earth. Now the learned priests and the people rage, and the heathen imagine a vain thing.”

Genesis 1:1; “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”

1 Cor. 15:58; “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”

So did the Mormon god create or organize the earth?  And if the Mormon truly believes in the Bible then why is there a disagreement with the very first verse in the Bible?

Also why is Mosiah using vocabulary and passages from Paul in the New Testament when it’s supposedly 124 BC?
