What is a Saint?
Ephesians 5:1-3; “Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; 2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savour. 3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints.”
A saint is someone who makes Jesus their Lord. In the Greek this word is hagios meaning sacred (physically pure, morally blameless or religious, ceremonially consecrated): holy.
While part of their definition is correct (following the teachings of Jesus) no other part of the description is right.
Mormons are not part of the body of Christ and therefore sadly enough, have not made Jesus their Lord.
