Jesus is God

Adam Who is He, pg 58; “Christ is God – the Creator – and with his Father is the greatest of all. But Adam stands next to him, and never let that be forgotten.” – Mark E. Petersen

Isaiah 9:6; “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

Well I would agree that Christ is indeed God and He’s the Creator. Funny thing is, Mormonism doesn’t align itself with those two things. They believe Jesus is the God of this earth (see 2 Cor. 4:4) and they don’t believe God created this earth. They believe He only had the power to organize its elements, not create it out of nothing (Abraham 4:25).

And lastly, I don’t have a clue as to where they got the idea Adam stands next to Jesus in the whole scheme of things.
