Adam with Title of God

Isaiah 45:5-6; “I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.”
Well they can say what they want but God has made it pretty clear – there are no other gods besides Him.

Why do you use the words “beside” and “besides” as if they mean the same thing?
One word means that “there is no other God as great as me”; the other word means that “there is no other God”.

If you have a problem with the way God phrases things, take it up with Him – I’m providing the info of what the Bible states and it says what it says with no hidden agenda.
I have no problem with the way God phrases things, it is the way you added letters to the word He used.
You added an “s” to Gods word and made “beside” into “besides”.
And there is something about not adding to God’s word without being a prophet.

Fred- The Bible says NO other gods…that is the point. Mormonism says Adam…so that is in error. The use of the wording “besides,etc” is not the point here.
No gods means no gods; Satan’s lie is you can become a god….Where in the Bible does it say we can become a god?

It sure is, when it is your teachers that are adding to God’s Word in the Bible, and by doing so they are changing what God had said in the Bible.
