Christians Persecute True Religion

Gospel Truth, pg 333; “Where false religion prevails, men persecute and oppress those who are not of their own faith; they are frequently fierce, cruel, pitiless and do not feel content unless they are waging war against those who possess pure religion or who are striving to obtain a knowledge of it. The history of false religion is the history of crime and the most dreadful and shocking persecutions of men by their fellows.” – George Q. Cannon

1 John 2:9; “He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.”

AMEN!!! No truer words have ever been spoken by anyone in the Mormon Church! 

Now let’s take a closer look at facts. 

It wasn’t the body of Christ who said or did anything against Mormonism when Joe Smith founded it.  Rather, Smith came out swinging and making vile accusations against Christianity. The vitriolic language carried on each time they lied to the Christian churches about their intent, about polygamy and about their money making bank schemes. 

If you’re a Christian church then why pray tell are you going to the churches looking for converts? The picture of the wolf in the sheep’s pasture has never been truer.
