False Prophecies of Mormonism The Revolving Door of the Mormon Holy Ghost

Family Home Evening Resource Book, pg 62; “After we are baptized we receive the gift of the Holy Ghost to be our constant companion and guide if we live worthily and seek his help (see D&C 35:6, 121:46; Articles of Faith 1:4).”

John 14:18; “I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.”

What purpose would it serve for the Holy Spirit to keep coming in an out of a believer’s life if/when they sin?

How would the believer always be in Christ if the Holy Spirit leaves at whim? How is the believer to have the HS to be his/her guide if perchance He isn’t there when you really need Him?

This teaching in the “family home evening” resource is a false prophecy. The Mormon Holy Ghost can’t be with someone all the time because 1. He’s not omnipresent and 2. The Doctrine and Covenants 130:23 and of course then there’s the third reason the Mormon Holy Ghost doesn’t/can’t reside inside females… 3. Brigham Young said so.

Journal of Discourses 1:51; “…—”if the Son was begotten by the Holy Ghost, it would be very dangerous to baptize and confirm females, and give the Holy Ghost to them, lest he should beget children,”
