Hebrews 1:5; “For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?”
It is remarkable how these men could continue to lie year after year to thousands upon thousands of people.
The word of God tells us many times that angels were created to deliver messages to mankind and to worship God.
I also find the passage in Hebrews interesting in light of Smith’s teachings on Lucifer and Jesus being spirit brothers in the pre-existence. It’s presence leads me to believe this false teaching has been around for awhile.
The link that’s imbedded in the reference above will take you to a typed copy of the journal of Wilford Woodruff provided by Ogden Kraut.
Ogden Kraut (1927-2002) was a convert to Mormonism who was active in the wards and stakes he lived in. He had five wives and was ex-communicated in 1972 for advocating polygamy. He wrote more than 50 books, most of which were self published and held firm to the Joseph Smith brand of Mormonism. His writings pulled no punches about what true Mormonism was really made of and got himself into a boatload of trouble with Salt Lake for expressing his disdain in the way they didn’t follow the original precepts of Smith.
