False Prophecies of Mormonism Procreation Mandatory for Salvation

Morality, pg 105; “The power of creation-or may we say procreation-is not just an incidental part of the plan: it is essential to it. Without it the plan could not proceed. The misuse of it may disrupt the plan.” – Boyd K. Packer

1 Thessalonians 5:9-10; “For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.”

Biblical salvation is God’s provision of deliverance from sin and the eventual spiritual death that accompanies being separated from God because of sin.

The concept of salvation is found in Israel’s deliverance from Egypt and on this side of the cross it’s revealed to us that salvation is found in Christ alone. By faith in Him we are spared the punishment of God’s judgment.

We need God’s salvation because of the events that took place in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve.  Mankind inherited the sinful nature of the first couple when they sinned against God and because God’s holiness required payment (atonement) for that sin, we need a redeemer.

God provided a redemption for us through His Son Jesus who died on the cross for our sins, fulfilling the requirement to atone for our sins.  Jesus was the only One who could fill the shoes of a sinless sacrifice.

This is God’s plan of salvation – clearly laid out for us from Genesis to the end of Revelation! It has nothing to do with our works or our good thoughts, but everything to do with the works of Christ Jesus.

The Romans Road provides a great explanation of God’s plan of salvation – you can read it here!
