Mormon apostle, Robert D. Hales, died on Sunday, October 1, 2017 ‘from incidents due to age’, while in hospital.

Hales was called to the office of apostle in 1994 after serving as a high ranking businessman at several large companies such as Chesebrough-Ponds, Gillette, and Max Factor.
