False Prophecies of Mormonism Nephites Walked from Sea to Shining Sea

Helaman 4:7; “And there they did fortify against the Lamanites, from the west sea, even unto the east; it being a day’s journey for a Nephite, on the line which they had fortified and stationed their armies to defend their north country.”

2 Timothy 3:6-7; “For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

The text today says the Nephites could walk from one sea to the other in just one day which would be quite the feat when we look at what’s available for us to consider. 

If we look at the area where Smith lived at the time we find Lake Erie and Lake Ontario which are connected by the Niagra River which is about 35 miles long.

 If he’s talking about the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans well then, that’s an even bigger problem.
