Matthew 13:33; “Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.”
The example in Matthew’s gospel is the only time that Jesus or the apostles used the word leaven in a positive manner. All other times it’s used as a negative.
This is important to remember when you look at LDS writings. I found several examples where they’ve used this term in a positive sense, but let’s look at what Mr. Taylor had to say in our example today.
1.The Lord doesn’t have His way in manipulating people. If this is what you believe about the Lord then I suggest you read more of His word. He’s not here to force anyone into anything.
2.The Lord set things in motion with Adam and how he chose to behave still carries a direct impact upon the creation of the earth and mankind as well. This too would negate Taylor’s theory.
3.Why would Taylor say the ultimate result of the gospel will work like leaven, meaning it’ll go everywhere, if Mormons don’t believe this is true? The entire reason Mormonism exists is based on the theory of a great apostasy and the Mormon god removed his gospel and church from the earth.
As mentioned earlier, this isn’t the only time LDS inc, has used this term in their teachings which is actually shocking to the Christian world! Here are a few of the times we’ve brought attention to this –

If you’re LDS I beseech you to give a hearty investigation into what I’ve said here and what the Church has told you. As an intelligent human being who obviously knows how to read, open the books and don’t let another day go by without finding the truth for yourself!
