Jesus’ Paternity and Polygamous Lifestyle

The Millennial Star, Vol. 15, No. 51, December 17, 1853, p 825; “. . .we apprehend that even greater troubles than these may arise before mankind learn all the particulars of Christ’s incarnation-how and by whom he was begotten; the character of the relationships formed by the act; the number of wives and children he had and all other circumstances with which he was connected, and by which he was tried and tempted in all things like unto man…”

Matthew 12:36-37; “But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. 37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.”

Slandering Jesus is probably on the short list of things you absolutely shouldn’t do as a Christian. 

I’m convinced this type of thinking is a result of not appreciating the magnitude of who Jesus is. Being told all your life that Jesus is merely your brother (as well as Lucifer) denigrates our Lord and drags Him down to our level; created beings. 

Mankind is God’s creation who’s in desperate need of grace and mercy. With that position we should be on our knees and not postulating ‘how great we art’.
