Jesus is Adam’s Son

Journal of Heber C. Kimball, v. 20, p. 17; also, Deseret News, March 11, 1857; “The Lord told me that Jesus Christ was the son of Adam.” – Heber C. Kimball

President Heber C. Kimball’s Journal, p 209; “April 20, 1862, The Lord told me that Adam was my father and that he was the God and father of all the inhabitants of this Earth”  Also see p 274.

Journal of Discourses 4:1-2; “I have learned by experience that there is but one God that pertains to this people, and He is the God that pertains to this earth—the first man. That first man sent his own Son to redeem the world, to redeem his brethren; his life was taken, his blood shed, that our sins might be remitted. That Son called twelve men and ordained them to be Apostles, and when he departed the keys of the kingdom were deposited with three of those twelve, viz.: Peter, James, and John. Peter held the keys pertaining to that Presidency, and he was the head.” – Heber C. Kimball, Salt Lake City, June 29, 1856

Mark 16:16; “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.”

For those who wonder what happens to unbelievers, it’s pretty clear. Jesus told us in Mark 16 that you’ll be damned. All the garbage Heber Kimball shoveled out to members of the Church will be judged and he’ll be held accountable for his words.

If Jesus was the son of Adam and Adam is God, just how did Adam come into existence if none of us were created to begin with? How did he get to the point to where he became god?

Why aren’t there any biblical references to this? Where are the in-depth extraneous Mormon writings on how this came to be?

Instead of providing any demonstrative evidence proving their position all we see are numerous plagiarized texts, the never ending vitriol expressed towards Christianity, blasphemous ideologies maligning God, and exhaustive excuses of why they haven’t found any archaeological evidence for Smith’s outlandish claims.

Comparatively speaking, we have libraries filled with verifiable, historical evidences from biblical and outside resources painting a picture from the beginning of time to the end of the apostolic age c 95 AD. From all those resources there’s nothing in the Bible defending the position Mr. Kimball chose to espouse, rather, we find that God will hold people accountable. Guaranteed.
