Ensign, ‘Joseph Smith, the Mighty Prophet of the Restoration,’ May 1976, p. 94 “As to this man, Joseph Smith, let us say – Here is a man who was chosen before he was born, who was numbered with the noble and great in the councils of eternity before the foundations of this world were laid. “Along with Adam and Enoch and Noah and Abraham, he sat in council with the Gods when the plans were made to create an earth whereon the hosts of our Father’s children might dwell. “Under the direction of the Holy One and of Michael, who became the first man, he participated in the creative enterprises of the Father.” — Bruce R. Yes, LDS Church Leaders have Led People Astray

Matthew 7:15; “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.”
Despite constant reassurances from leaders of the Church they can be trusted, it turns out they’re a picture perfect example of the wolf in sheep’s clothing!
The LDS Church makes it a priority to remind people their self-ordained prophets would never lead people astray. The following is just one of several examples anyone can find in their writings/teaching manuals. We found our example in the LDS Student Manual, The Living Prophet, the President of the Church –
“You keep your eye upon him whom the Lord called, and I say to you now, knowing that I stand in this position, you don’t need to worry about the President of the Church ever leading people astray, because the Lord would remove him out of his place before He would ever allow that to happen” (The Teachings of Harold B. Lee, ed. Clyde J. Williams [1996], 533).
Anti-Christian Remarks and a Slough of Mormon False Prophecies

The title of our article today is but a snippet into the minds of early Mormonism and the way they collectively spoke about the body of Christ. The small section from ‘The Women of Mormondom’ gives us a close up look into the minds of those who obeyed Joe Smith and Brigham Young.
This book, written by Eliza Roxcy Snow, is a compilation of early Mormon teachings, some historical data, and interviews of prominent members of the Church, conducted by Ms. Snow. Not only was Eliza the older sister of Mormonism’s 5th prophet/president, Lorenzo Snow, she was also the widow of both Joseph Smith, and Brigham Young, in addition to serving as the 1st LDS Relief Society Secretary under Emma Smith.
This short lesson we’re looking at today gives us a concise, yet comprehensive, understanding on the Church’s teachings about Adam’s role as Michael the Archangel. Additionally, because Mormons can’t do anything without slamming the body of Christ, they couldn’t help but include an unnecessary opinion about Christianity along with it.

Doctrines of Salvation 1:121; “By many he has been severely criticized because of his fall, but Latter-day Saints, through modern revelation, have learned that such was necessary in order that man should have his agency and, through the various vicissitudes he has to pass, receive a knowledge of both good and evil, without which it would be impossible for him to gain the exaltation prepared for him…”
Roles of Adam in Mormonism

Today we’re taking a look at the importance of who Adam is in Mormonism. Their blasphemy leaves us wondering how anyone wouldn’t be confused…
How is it logical that Adam could fill all the roles they’ve taught?
As we praise God for our freedom here in America, we also pray that Mormons will listen to the One and Only True God, that being Christ Jesus who gives us true freedom!
Did Brigham Reveal Too Much about God?

Journal of Discourses 8:58; “And I will say, as I have said before, if guilt before my God and my brethren rests upon me in the least, it is in this one
thing, that I have revealed too much concerning God and his kingdom, and the designs of our Father in heaven. If my skirts are stained in the least with wrong, it is because I have been too free in telling who God is, how he lives, the nature of his providences and designs in creating the world, in bringing the human family on the earth, his designs concerning them, etc. If I had, like Paul, said — “But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant,” perhaps it would have been better for the people.” – Brigham Young, Salt Lake City, June 27, 1860

When LDS Apostle Bruce McConkie gave a Fireside Speech in June 1980 he named it “The Seven Deadly Heresies”, His message was a warning to members of the Church to refrain from believing in some of the teachings that were made popular by past prophets.
I’ve often wondered if he thought that his words would carry a significant message far into the future.

Jans Christian Anderson Weibye Daybooks, Daybook 5th, pp. 20-22; March 1, 1877;
“Byron Allred preaches at Manti on Adam as God, with the following remarks in part:
Adam was buried by God (God his Father) and was only dead like a twinkling of an eye, and his God exalted him immediately. Mary was sealed to Adam, and was his wife when she had Jesus. Mary will be the Queen to people another world; Mary was the second wife to Adam; and unless we have two wives, we can never be Gods.
Adam will worship his God and we will worship Adam, and our children will worship us.”

Wilford Woodruff’s Journal, April 9, 1852; “Who begat the Son of God? Infidels say that Jesus was a bastard, but let me tell you the truth concerning that matter. Our Father begat all the spirits that were, before any tabernacles were made. When our Father came into the garden, He came with His celestial body and brought one of His wives with Him and ate of the fruit of the garden until He could beget a tabernacle, and Adam is Michael or God and all the God that we have anything to do with. They eat of this fruit and formed the first tabernacle that was formed. And when the Virgin Mary was begotten with child, it was by the Father and in no other way, in no other way, only as we were begotten. I will tell you the truth as it is in God. The world don’t know that Jesus Christ our elder brother was begotten by our Father in Heaven. Handle it as you please, it will either seal the damnation or salvation of man. He was begotten by the Father and not by the Holy Ghost.” – Wilford Woodruff

Denouncing Past Prophets
Church News, October 9, 1976; “Spencer W. Kimball stated: “We warn you against the dissemination of doctrines which are not according to the scriptures and which are alleged to have been taught by some of the General Authorities of past generations. Such, for instance, is the Adam-God theory. We denounce that theory and hope that everyone will be cautioned against this and other kinds of false doctrine”.”
Matthew 7:15-17; “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.”
