Hosea’s prophecy was fulfilled when Herod went on his murderous rampage, and his death not long afterwards as seen in Matthew’s gospel,

Matthew 2:15; “And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.”

One of the reasons this is an important topic to discuss with Mormons should be pretty obvious. God called His children to come out of Egypt. Sadly, Joe Smith tricked people into following him back in with his BoM, supposedly written in Reformed Egyptian. Making matters worse, he also introduced yet another gospel he dubbed the ‘Pearl of Great Price’, which contains the mistranslated papyri that ended up being nothing more than instructions on how to bury the dead. The correct translation of the Egyptian papyri was known as ‘The Breathing Permit of Hor’.

You’ll want to ask the Mormon you know why Smith would do this when God considered Egypt an enemy, and very adamantly commanded His children not to worship any other gods.

Also see Numbers 24:8; “God brought him forth out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn: he shall eat up the nations his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows.”

Will the Pearl of Great Price Cost You Your Life? The Pearl of Great Price is one of four books that make up the canonical works of Mormonism. Each writing in this collection of holy Mormon writ, was produced to malign and discredit the nature and character of God, we as Christians know in the Bible. You’ll find no less than five “God inspired” works in the PofGP.
