What the Book of Mormon and Pearl of Great Price say about Race

1 John 2:9; “He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.”
The extra-biblical canon of Mormonism reveals many reasons why the LDS Church isn’t a Christian organization, and our focus today is on one of those reasons.
The racist narrative found in Mormon canon is unlike anything God would condone. The Lord created all men (Gen. 3:20) and from the first two people He created (Adam & Eve), all humanity sprang. See Answeringgenesis.org for more info on the different ‘races’ of mankind.
More JWs than LDS in Europe

Trends in LDS Church Growth; “This treatise illustrates the folly of neglecting the word of the Lord in the Doctrine and Covenants concerning the need for investigators to make themselves ready for baptism. There are more active Jehovah’s Witnesses in the countries of Georgia or Armenia than active Latter-day Saints in all of Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and Russia together. There are less than 100,000 active Latter-day Saints in all of Europe, including the United Kingdom. In comparison, there are over 1.4 million proselytizing Jehovah’s Witnesses in Europe, and 2.7 million who attend Jehovah’s Witness conferences. …
Mission policies are highly heterogeneous, yet much of the LDS retention problem stems from missionary approaches that emphasize quick baptism, often at the expense of the conversion process. Most individuals have read very little in the Book of Mormon at the time of baptism and have been to church only once or twice. Not surprisingly, one-year retention in most missions church-wide is below 40% …”

Fullness of the Gospel?
D&C 20:9; “Which contains a record of a fallen people, and the fulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles and to the Jews also.”
1 Corinthians 15:1-4; “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.”

Why Was Scripture Written?
Make time out of your day today – yes today! – to ask your Mormon friend why the scriptures were written. Be sure you’re well prepared to give an answer and back it up with scripture of course!
Ask them if they know why Mormon scriptures were written and if they can show you one of their verses that explains this.
John 20:31; “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.”

Book of Mormon Challenge
D&C 67:6-8; “Now, seek ye out of the Book of Commandments, even the least that is among them, and appoint him that is the most wise among you; 7 Or, if there be any among you that shall make one like unto it, then ye are justified in saying that ye do not know that they are true; 8 But if ye cannot make one like unto it, ye are under condemnation if ye do not bear record that they are true.”
Isn’t it interesting that the same challenge is made in the Quran –
