Tip of the Day, May 5

May 5 – 1 Cor. 11:22, 29, 34; “What? Have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye thechurchofGod, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you in this? I praise you not. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. And if any man hunger, let him eat at home…”

The Mormon’s communion time is like a free for all. All men, women and children take communion even if they’re not saved. As communion is passed down the aisles (they refer to it as sacrament), they eat and drink upon being served the Wonder bread and water.  They’ve also stripped away the remembrance of Christ’s shed blood by taking away the wine or juice.

3 Nephi 18:8-9; “And it came to pass that when he said these words, he commanded his disciples that they should take of the wine of the cup and drink of it, and that they should also give unto the multitude that they might drink of it. And it came to pass that they did so, and did drink of it and were filled; and they gave unto the multitude, and they did drink, and they were filled.”
