‘Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.’ Acts 4:12
John 3:30 “He must increase, but I must decrease.”
1 Peter 1:25 “But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.”
Contrary to what this man said, the message in the Book of Mormon is filled with ruinous lies about the Lord Jesus. One example is found in 3 Nephi 19:30 where it says Jesus is white.
Furthermore, the BoM didn’t provide any new info we didn’t already have in the Bible.
Another problem in Mr. Caussé’s talk is when he said Jesus had an essential role in the exaltation of mankind.
This isn’t remotely true beloved! All throughout the Bible we read how God has proclaimed there are no other gods – He’s the only God there is!
Why would Jesus exalt man for a godhood position if he’s always declared there are no other gods? Check out Isaiah chapters 40-46 for several examples of this.
Moreover, the BoM doesn’t contain any verses telling the reader godhood is possible. This is one of the numerous LDS basic beliefs that’s missing in the BoM.
Lastly, the Lord has told us numerous times His word endures forever – Praise His Holy Name! For an example of some of those, see our Bible is Reliable Database. If you believe, and trust in Him, why wouldn’t you trust His word?
