Scriptures Mormons Refuse to Believe

‘Where there is no vision, the people cast off restraint.’ Proverbs 29:18

Today we’re looking at one verse in the Book of Mormon, and comparing it with what God has told us in His word.

Jacob 4:2 “But whatsoever things we write upon anything save it be upon plates must perish and vanish away.”

Matthew 24:35 “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.”

The importance of the travesty in this BoM verse shouldn’t go unnoticed for a few reasons.

1.It totally rejects dozens of promises where God told us His words would never pass away. See a sample of these at end of article.

2.The BoM verse proved itself a false prophecy in 1946 with the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls.

3.The missing golden plates is proof this isn’t a true story. Their words are the ones that vanished, not God’s.

Please, share this great news of God’s provision with a Mormon you know! Also be sure to share your favorite biblical passage so they can see how you rely on His word for direction in your own life!
