LDS Women are Daughters of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ

TheChurchNews.com “Notable quotes…As the beloved daughters of Heavenly Father, and as the daughters of the Lord Jesus Christ in His kingdom, you will play a crucial part in the grand times ahead…You are daughters of a loving Heavenly Father, who sent you into the world with unique gifts that you promised to use to bless others.” — Henry Eyring

Psalms 101:7 “He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight.”

For today we’re looking at just a couple of things Mr. Eyring said in the General Conference. Because of the numerous lies, and confusing things he said, we’re breaking this talk into a few posts. The reference we’re using today came from The Church News – see link above. You can read his talk in full at General Conference, ‘Sisters in Zion’, October 2020.

In light of what he said, we’re wondering…

How can LDS women be the daughters of Heavenly Father, and Jesus Christ, whom they’ve been taught is their ‘elder brother’?

What exactly are the ‘grand times ahead’?

Why did Mr. Eyring say women promised to use their ‘unique gifts’ when they were supposedly in the pre-existence? His comment makes their uniqueness sound sketchy.

In reality, his words were lies intended to be a guilt-trip. 1 Corinthians 15:44-47.

Pray those who listened to this man will reject the lies, and open their Bibles for the truth!

With Love in Christ;

Michelle
