Matthew 1:18-20 “Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. 19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily. 20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.”

The prophet Jeremiah was about 17 years old when God called him into ministry. Jeremiah’s life was filled with despair as he repeatedly called out to his people to repent. His example shows how it’s a normal part of life to occasionally feel sad about events surrounding us. To be sure, everyone who has a friend/loved one in Mormonism, can relate to what Jeremiah felt!
Those who are familiar with Mormonism, also know what they teach about Jesus’ conception. Of all the false prophecies regarding God, this is one of the worst.
If God couldn’t perform the miracle of Jesus’ conception, as it says in scripture, how could you trust Him for anything else?
During this time of year, be sure to share the truth with Mormons you know, and pray for their deliverance from the deception! For more info on the birth of our Savior, see What Do Mormons Think of the Virgin Mary?.

Ensign, ‘Five Marks of the Divinity of Christ,’ December 2001 “From a fireside address given at the University of Utah Special Events Center on 9 December 1979. … I am bold to say to you … Jesus Christ is the Son of God in the most literal sense. The body in which He performed His mission in the flesh was sired by that same Holy Being we worship as God, our Eternal Father. He was not the son of Joseph, nor was He begotten by the Holy Ghost. He is the Son of the Eternal Father!” – Ezra Taft Benson
