Matthew 6:24 “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.”
Today we have a few questions about Mr. Rasband’s talk at General Conference —
1.Why is the Church telling people to ask questions? Historically the Church has been adamant you mustn’t question their authority.
2.Why should someone always be temple worthy when God’s word tells us His spirit resides inside the believer and we are the temple? See 1 Cor. 3:16, 1 Cor. 6:19.
By default, believers become temple worthy when they ask Jesus into their hearts!
3.How does someone ask questions if they’re told to follow the prophet?
4.How can LDS members follow the prophet and Jesus at the same time? His word clearly states you can’t serve two masters.
The directives in this man’s talk are so contrary to the Church’s m.o. and should serve as a strong warning there’s something seriously wrong here.
Please pray for this man and those who believed his lies!
With Love in Christ —
Michelle
