Notice in today’s lesson that when the true God of Israel makes a covenant, it’s forever. Today the people of Israel are still in Israel. Notice the false prophecy in the Mormon’s world; it’s another promise broken by their god.
Ask a Mormon today how they can trust him. All of the people in the Book of Mormon were killed off so how could the people of Lehi have America as a land of inheritance forever?

Mormon Doctrine, p. 155 “To Lehi the covenant was vouchsafed that America should be a land of inheritance for his seed forever. (2 Ne. 1.) A similar promise came to the saints this day. (D. & C. 38:20.) As part of the great Abrahamic covenant, a special land inheritance was offered Israel. (Gen. 17.)”
