Matthew 24:4-5, 23-24 “And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”

Just how believable is that Mormon story?
What Israelite wouldn’t have known about one of the other tribes?
The way tradition was in those days the story of one of the tribes getting on a ship and high tailing it to another continent would’ve been in their stories they passed down from one generation to the next.
How did the Nephites know about the American Continent or where they’d land?
Where is the story of Nephi or Lehi in the Old Testament before the Babylonian takeover?
Can’t find it you say? It’s no wonder. Why would the Lord keep secrets?
Jesus of all people not telling the whole truth about the other sheep is a lie. The other sheep were the Gentiles not an unknown group of Israelites.
Lastly, what purpose did all this serve if everyone died?
Ask a Mormon about the questions listed above and any others you might have. Let them know you’re doing this because of the deep concern you have for them and above all else please pray!
