LDS: Women Must Have 8-10 Kids

February 10 — LDS: Women Must Have 8-10 Kids. Relief Society Magazine, v. 3, no. 7, p. 364 “Woman is so constituted that, ordinarily, she is capable of bearing, during the years of her greatest strength and physical vigor, from eight to ten children, and in exceptional cases a larger number than that. The law of her nature so ordered it, and God’s command, while it did not specify the exact number of children allotted to woman, simply implied that she should exercise the sacred power of procreation to its utmost limit.” — Rudger Clawson, LDS Apostle, July 1916

Matthew 22:36-40 “Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”

There’s absolutely nothing in the Bible stating that women must give birth to 8-10 kids. A few months ago, I posted an article about the degrading position this brings upon women. See Jesus is…

Mr. Clawson may have written his article 109 years ago but the Church is obviously clinging to this ungodly belief today.

Ask the Mormon for their opinion about this topic!
