The word angel and its derivatives is in the Bible 286 times.
There’s nothing in His word that remotely suggests that angels are Adam and Eve’s offspring or that they’ve been translated or resurrected beings.
The imagination of Mr. Roberts was a lot like Joe Smith’s which was off the charts.
Furthermore, the Bible tells us what God thinks of those who claim they’re wise. The transliteration for fools is ‘moros’ which means stupid. See Strong’s #3471.
Mr. Roberts was the Church’s premiere apologist at one time and held in high regard for his insight long before McConkie, Arrington or Petersen.
One thing is for certain with the Church and the topic of angels. For every reference, you’ll find a different teaching and none of them are biblical.
