Since Adam’s name means red and he was made from the earth I would venture to say he probably wasn’t white…all things are possible with God but confusion isn’t one of them. 1 Corinthians 14:33
Furthermore, when the Bible states that God made man in His own image this doesn’t mean God is a man. This phrase is an allegory. The verse in the Bible says; “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” – Gen. 1:27
Another problem with Mr. Cannon’s theory is that Jesus told us in John 4:24 God is a spirit.
In addition to all this we also know that God isn’t a man so the phrase in Genesis isn’t talking about physical attributes. Numbers 23:19
Another glaring issue is of course the non-white Mormons. What’s the takeaway for them in all of this?
It’s actually one of the main reasons I left the Church. I’m not exactly white and delightsome.
You can’t fall back on the old adage it’s the way it was back then.
1.Not everyone was racist.
2.God has never been racist.
Lastly, if the Mormon god was a man and he had Jesus who was born in the Middle East what are the chances that he’d be white?
Ask the Mormon you know if they think God is a white man and if they can show from the Bible where it says this.
