Mark 12:24-25, 27 “Jesus said unto them, Is it not for this cause that ye err, that ye know not the scriptures, nor the power of God? 25 For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as angels in heaven. 27 He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err.”

Romans 10:4, 9 “For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

Before we look at the problem in Joe Smith’s prophecy, I need to clarify something.
The other day (January 3, 2026) I wrote about speaking with the missionaries. They told me that D&C 132 was about people being like angels in heaven and I corrected them by stating it was about polygamy.
Well, we were both right. It’s about polygamy but being like angels in heaven meant you weren’t married in the temple.
I’ve always said that if you can prove that I’m wrong on any of my websites tell me about it and I will fix it immediately. That’s what I’m doing here today.
The whole reason I’ve brought this up is because of the LDS reference I found yesterday that’s listed above.
Now, back to the topic at hand!
Jesus didn’t die with the stipulation you have to be married in a temple. That scenario is what opened my eyes at my daughter’s funeral. The bishop told us we’d never see her again because we weren’t temple worthy.
Jesus died on the cross because He loves us (John 3:16) and He alone was worthy of eradicating our sins to make us worthy. Our works are as filthy rags. Isaiah 64:6
BTW, doing the works of Abraham in Mormonism means polygamy.
Please, share this with a Mormon today!
