Nations to Bow Down to Everlasting Covenant of Mormonism 

D&C 49:9-12; “Wherefore, I say unto you that I have sent unto you mine everlasting covenant, even that which was from the beginning. And that which I have promised I have so fulfilled, and the nations of the earth shall bow to it; and, if not of themselves, they shall come down, for that which is now exalted of itself shall be laid low of power. 11 Wherefore, I give unto you a commandment that ye go among this people, and say unto them, like unto mine apostle of old, whose name was Peter: 12 Believe on the name of the Lord Jesus, who was on the earth, and is to come, the beginning and the end.”

Deut. 18:22; “When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.”

It’s been 181 years since Smith gave that revelation and still not one single nation has fulfilled his demands…hmmm…

The everlasting covenant they’re referring to is that of marriage. You can read more of this everlasting covenant in Mormon Doctrine, pg 529-530 which says every law God makes is an everlasting covenant but the main covenant they focus upon is that of marriage; i.e. temple marriages, families are forever, et al.
