Falling from Grace

Mosiah 18:17, 20; “And they were called the church of God, or the church of Christ, from that time forward. And it came to pass that whosoever was baptized by the power and authority of God was added to his church. 20 Yea, even he commanded them that they should preach nothing save it were repentance and faith on the Lord, who had redeemed his people.”

Gal. 5:4; “Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.”

It’s supposedly 147 BC at the time of Mosiah’s writing.  Why are these people preaching Jesus saves and obedience to the Law at the same time?

Paul tells us in Galatians those who do such a thing are forfeiting their salvation! 

As Christians this would be a nightmare come true! Can you just imagine Jesus saying that you’ve fallen from grace?  

What wouldn’t you be ready to give up for Him?
