False Prophecies of Mormonism; Universal Salvation

Journal of Discourses 14:309; “We simply do what the Lord our God commands us. God loves his offspring, the human family. His design is not simply to furnish happiness to the few here, called Latter-day Saints. The plan and scheme that he is now carrying out is for universal salvation; not only for the salvation of the Latter-day Saints, but for the salvation of every man and woman on the face of the earth, for those also in the spirit world, and for those who may hereafter come upon the face of the earth. It is for the salvation of every son and daughter of Adam. They are the offspring of the Almighty, he loves them all and his plans are for the salvation of the whole, and he will bring all up into that position in which they will be as happy and as comfortable as they are willing to be. Our mission is to the world, and not simply to carry the Gospel to the people, but to establish plans and lay schemes for their temporal salvation.” – Lorenzo Snow, Salt Lake City, January 14, 1872

Moses 4:1-4; “And I, the Lord God, spake unto Moses, saying: That Satan, whom thou hast commanded in the name of mine Only Begotten, is the same which was from the beginning, and he came before me, saying—Behold, here am I, send me, I will be thy son, and I will redeem all mankind, that one soul shall not be lost, and surely I will do it; wherefore give me thine honor. 2 But, behold, my Beloved Son, which was my Beloved and Chosen from the beginning, said unto me—Father, thy will be done, and the glory be thine forever. 3 Wherefore, because that Satan rebelled against me, and sought to destroy the agency of man, which I, the Lord God, had given him, and also, that I should give unto him mine own power; by the power of mine Only Begotten, I caused that he should be cast down; 4 And he became Satan, yea, even the devil, the father of all lies, to deceive and to blind men, and to lead them captive at his will, even as many as would not hearken unto my voice.”

John 14:6; “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

Clearly this man, Lorenzo Snow, is out to deceive people. 

How can you offer salvation to everyone when Jesus tells us that not everyone will believe in Him? 

Secondly, this false apostle has contradicted his own dogma. If Lucifer was rejected for offering salvation to all then why are the Mormons now doing the very thing they condemned Lucifer for? 

Thirdly, there is no “scheme”.  This is God’s foreordained plan that He created for mankind before the foundation of the world.

Fourthly, we are the adopted sons and daughters of God and not His offspring in the sense they are trying to push. We were not begotten spiritually through a sexual union between a god and one of his wives before we existed here on earth.

And most importantly – no one and that means absolutely no one – comes to the Father without going to Jesus first! This means the Jesus that’s proclaimed in the Bible. Not the created Jesus of Mormonism and not the all encompassing Jesus of the modern age. It’s the Jesus of the Bible!
