False Prophecies of Mormonism

Jesus’ Arrival

1 Nephi 10:14; “Yea, even six hundred years from the time that my father left Jerusalem, a prophet would the Lord God raise up among the Jews—even a Messiah, or, in other words, a Savior of the world.”

Alma 13:22; “Yea, and the voice of the Lord, by the mouth of angels, doth declare it unto all nations; yea, doth declare it, that they may have glad tidings of great joy; yea, and he doth sound these glad tidings among all his people, yea, even to them that are scattered abroad upon the face of the earth; wherefore they have come unto us.”

1 Corinthian 14:33; “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.”

Wow. So Nephi knows the exact time of Jesus’ arrival, but Alma doesn’t?

How did that happen?

Why did the angels have to announce the news when the Mormon god already told Nephi?

And how was it they had the exact time Jesus would arrive?

Where in the Bible do we see God give a set of directions to prepare for an announcement that He’s already announced?

Could it be that Joseph was just filling pages of paper with words to draw people in? Perhaps he thought they wouldn’t remember Nephi had already been given the news by God…
