False Prophecies of Mormonism Testimony of the Three Witnesses

Testimony of the Three Witnesses

Book of Mormon Intro

From the last sentence of the last paragraph in the intro to the Book of Mormon testimony of the three witnesses it says;

“And the honor be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost, which is one God. Amen.

OLIVER COWDERY

DAVID WHITMER

MARTIN HARRIS”

Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, pg 370; “I have always declared God to be a distinct personage, Jesus Christ a separate and distinct personage from God the Father, and that the Holy Ghost was a distinct personage and a Spirit: and these three constitute three distinct personages and three Gods.”

Isaiah 43:10-11; “Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. 11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.”

How could the 3 witnesses be credible if they didn’t believe there’s only one God? By following Smith they’ve condoned his teachings.

How could Joseph Smith be credible if he verified the witnesses’ testimony and deemed it good?

Is there only one god in Mormonism or are there many gods?
