Witnessing Tip of the Day October 29 –– He would ascend into heaven

October 29 –– He would ascend into heaven. Dan. 7:13-14a; “I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. 14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom…”

Acts 1:9-11; “And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.”

Mormons believe Jesus was taken into heaven as it’s explained here in Acts, however, they don’t believe in the words of Daniel. They believe the Ancient of Days was/is Adam. Ask how this could be if the passage in Acts is true.

Glossary of Symbolism, p 251; “Ancient of days. Name-title for Adam, “the first and oldest of all, the great, grand progenitor” (D&C 27:11; Smith, Joseph. Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith. Joseph F. Smith, comp. Salt Lake City: Deseret Book Co., 1976., p. 167). The title is incorrectly thought by the sectarian world to refer to God.” – Joseph Fielding McConkie
