“Is there a God beside me? Yea, there is no God; I know not any.” Isaiah 46:8
????
If God lied, how would LDS leadership know another being could take his place?
Where is this in LDS canon, moreover, where is this in the Bible? In Isaiah we see God’s declaration that He knows of no other gods.
Now all those who are permitted to dwell in his presence, must love truth as he loves it, and be as stable and unchangeable in truth as he is…
The devil was a liar from the beginning, and is the father of lies, and all those who are addicted to this evil, are his children, and will dwell with their father, and be miserable as he is miserable…
Besides the lake of fire into which they are cast, they will make an additional hell of their own by their own demoniac and malicious passions.” — Orson Pratt, 1853
How could people in hell make their own hell filled with their passions if they’re supposedly living in a realm of misery?
Wouldn’t this mean they’re not really being punished for their sins?
Oh, the tangled web we weave…
Pray for Mormons to disavow anything taught by their apostles/prophets!
With Love in Christ;
Michelle
