LDS Easter Conference Praised Joseph, not Jesus, for Salvation

“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” John 14:26

 This year the Church’s dogged determination in denouncing Jesus while exalting Joseph was painfully obvious. From the dozen or so talks we’ve read from the April 2020 conference, it’d be impossible not to notice the imbued theme of their pseudo gospel message. We have yet to read anything solely focused on the Lord’s crucifixion, or His subsequent resurrection. For what it’s worth, there were 35 talks.

We’ve pulled a few more talks to compare with God’s word that you can read below.

As always, don’t forget to pray for Mormons to denounce the false god of Joseph Smith!

Joseph Smith’s Vision Brought God’s Holy Spirit to Earth

That They May See “…Two hundred years ago, a pillar of light rested on a young man in a grove of trees. In that light, Joseph Smith saw God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. Their light drove back the spiritual darkness that covered the earth and pointed the way forward for Joseph Smith—and for all of us. Because of the light revealed that day, we can receive the fulness of blessings available through the Atonement of our Savior, Jesus Christ. By virtue of the Restoration of His gospel, we can be filled with the light of our Savior…” — Bonnie H. Cordon

Whatever happened to John chapters 14-17 where Jesus told His disciples that He would be sending His Holy Spirit?

Old Testament Prophesied of Joseph Smith

Fulfillment of Prophecy “My dear brothers and sisters, I am honored to speak at this historic general conference commemorating Joseph Smith’s First Vision of God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, in what is, without question, a Sacred Grove. … By divine design, ancient prophets of God, when moved upon by the Holy Ghost, prophesied of the Restoration and what was to come in our day, the last dispensation and the fulness of times. … Through generations of time, they foretold, dreamed, envisioned, and prophesied of the future of God’s kingdom on earth, what Isaiah called “a marvellous work and a wonder.” The prophecies that have been fulfilled … are many.” — Ronald A. Rasband [emp. added]

We have to ask…

Who exactly said these things and where is it in  the Bible? Mr. Rasband used Isaiah and other names from the Bible to prove his point, however, there’s nothing in the Bible proving what he claimed.

Joseph Restored Salvation for All, Past and Present

Sharing the Message of the Restoration and the Resurrection “…the Restoration is not only for those of us who rejoice in it today. … The priesthood ordinances of salvation and exaltation were prepared for every individual, including those who no longer dwell in mortality.” — D. Todd Christofferson

The Bible has always clearly, and repeatedly, stated that today is the day of salvation. Foregoing all the other falsehoods in Mr. Christofferson’s claim about the priesthood, there’s no other time to be saved but the day you’re living today.

With Love in Christ;

Michelle
