1 Corinthians 15:44-46 “It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. 45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. 46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.”
The other day I checked out the Church’s latest teaching manuals for 2023 and their outrageous lies were immediately apparent.
On the first page of their online manual was an image of their heavenly father surrounded by four of his spirit kids with the caption we’ve listed above. We have a couple of questions/concerns with their lesson plan…
1.The biblical reference above clearly shows we were made a natural body first and then became spiritual. This makes Joe Smith’s claim of a preexistence impossible.
2.Why is there an image of a black child in the preexistence? This totally contradicts LDS theology. Everyone in the Mormon preexistence was white. People didn’t become dark until after they were born. For more info see What was the Curse of Cain? and 2 Nephi 5:21 —
“And he had caused the cursing to come upon them, yea, even a sore cursing, because of their iniquity. For behold, they had hardened their hearts against him, that they had become like unto a flint; wherefore, as they were white, and exceedingly fair and delightsome, that they might not be enticing unto my people the Lord God did cause a skin of blackness to come upon them.”
Notably, the reference they gave in the caption only mentions Joe Smith’s teachings and doesn’t mention the Bible at all.
