LDS Garments: Outward Expression of Inward Commitment

 Church News, ‘First Presidency Letter’,  April 14, 2024 “The garment of the holy priesthood reminds us of the veil in the temple, and the veil is symbolic of Jesus Christ. … Wearing it is an outward expression of your inward commitment to follow Him. … You should wear the garment day and night throughout your life… you will have greater access to the Savior’s mercy, protection, strength, and power.” — Russell Nelson, Dallin Oaks, Henry Eyring

2 Corinthians 11:13-14 “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. ¹⁴ And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.”

The Church has obviously used a popular Christian phrase to describe what baptism means. It’s not uncommon at all to hear a Christian stating that baptism is an outward expression of an inward faith (conviction).

We’re wondering how their garments could possibly be an outward expression if they hide them under their ‘street clothes’? As I’ve stated many times before, this is another ruse to confuse’.

Ask your Mormon friend/loved one for their opinion about this and don’t forget to let them know you’re praying for them!
