God No Respecter of Persons?

D&C 1:35; “For I am no respecter of persons, and will that all men shall know that the day speedily cometh; the hour is not yet, but is nigh at hand, when peace shall be taken from the earth, and the devil shall have power over his own dominion.”

This is the first of several 2-for-1 false prophecies Smith uttered in his career as a false prophet.  In this one we see that the Mormon god is indeed a respecter of people.  At this time in Mormon history blacks weren’t allowed to hold the priesthood.  Also note the word “nigh”.  Nigh means soon, or without delay.  While there are wars going on even at the time of this writing (May 2012), there is peace here on earth and peace in the hearts of every Christian.
