Teachings of Harold B. Lee, pg 298; “Those who apostatize from this church apostatized for one of two reasons—either because they have sinned and lost the faith, or they’re ignorant of the doctrines of the Church. I say, you think about what I have just said. If we, as the Church, expect the family can be ignorant and safe, we expect what never was and never will be”.

Galatians 2:20-21; “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. 21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain”.

It’s always the fault of those who leave and never the unbiblical doctrine of their church isn’t it? I’d love to tell Mr. Lee it’s not nor as it ever been about “the church”, but about the cross. – Melissa Grimes
