Ensign, ‘Admonitions for the Priesthood of God,’ January 1973, p. 107; “Remember that, brethren. You cannot destroy the appointments of the
prophets of God. The Lord knows whom He wants to preside in His Church, and sometimes it takes a lot of practicing, guiding, testing, before He may know whether or not one of us is prepared for the present assignment.” – Harold B. Lee
Psalms 147:4-5; “He telleth the number of the stars, He calleth them all by their names. 5 Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.”
We have a couple of questions that have come up in light of Mr. Lee’s comment above!
1.If we can’t destroy the appointments of God, why have several members of the LDS leadership been axed from the Church?
The mini-series we’re running on false prophecies for their first apostles tells us Mr. Lee’s teachings are false. Luke Johnson is one of many who left Mormonism, and/or whom the Church has excommunicated over the years.
2.If God named each, and every star in the universe He created, why would He have to wait, and see what mankind is going to do?
There’s no biblical pattern the Church follows when calling another ‘prophet of God’. The pyramid system they’ve implemented is manmade, and of their own doing.
