False Prophecies of the Mormon Church

No Polygamy Means No Salvation

Journal of Discourses 11:239; “We are told that if we would give up polygamy – which we know to be a doctrine revealed from heaven, and it is God and the world for it – but suppose this Church should give up this holy order of marriage, then would the devil, and all who are in league with him against the cause of God, rejoice that they had prevailed upon the Saints to refuse to obey one of the revelations and commandments of God to them.” – Brigham Young, Salt Lake City, June 3, 1866

Ephesians 2:8-9; “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

Now what? They’re not practicing polygamy (if they are they’re hiding it) and their scripture in D&C 132 sits untouched by the editors so what should the average Mormon think of this?

Will their works in the temple be sufficient for their god or will they fall short of what’s expected and commanded of them? 

If they say their lifestyle today is okay with the Mormon god then they’ll have to admit that Brigham’s prophecy is false.
