False Teachings of the Mormon Church; What is True Salvation?

Mormon Doctrine pg. 670; “Salvation in its true and full meaning is synonymous with exaltation or eternal life and consists in gaining an inheritance in the highest of the three heavens within the celestial kingdom. With few exceptions this is the salvation of which the scriptures speak. It is the salvation which the saints seek. It is of this which the Lord says, “There is no gift greater than the gift of salvation.” (D. & C. 6:13.) This full salvation is obtained in and through the continuation of the family unit in eternity, and those who obtain it are gods. (D. & C. 131:1-4; 132.)”

For the Mormon true salvation is exaltation, but they can’t be exalted until and unless they’re polygamists.  

The truth is that no Mormon today can receive a true salvation because they’re not practicing polygamy. So why are Mormons still going through the temple and taking out endowments if they can’t receive salvation? 

The other problem here is that no one but God can be God. We can’t become gods! 

Isaiah 43:10-11; “Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. 11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.” 

Our Lord didn’t leave any wiggle room for manmade speculations on this one. 

And the last problem in this scenario is what it says in D&C 6:13.  It says salvation is a gift. If it’s a gift why do they have to work for salvation?
