God Created You to Become a god
Discourses of Brigham Young, pg. 57; “The Lord created you and me for the purpose of becoming Gods like himself; when we have been proved in our present capacity, and have been faithful with all things he puts into our possession.”
1 Cor. 1:9; “God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.”
The Lord created you to have fellowship with you. The best thing God can give to you or me is Himself – He loves you without conditions! This teaching from Brigham Young is a lie from the very pits of hell.
There is no other god beside the One True God – Isaiah 43:10-11. This teaching from the LDS Church is outrageous and in the mind of a Mormon seems logical because of the way they’ve systematically brought God down to man’s level and in turn exalted man to God’s level.
This statement of Mr. Young’s is also a very clear indication of how Mormonism mimics the Hindu belief of reincarnation.
