First Resurrection for Righteous & Unrighteous
D&C 76:50, 64; “And again we bear record—for we saw and heard, and this is the testimony of the gospel of Christ concerning them who shall come forth in the resurrection of the just— 64 These are they who shall have part in the first resurrection.”
Mosiah 15:24; “And these are those who have part in the first resurrection; and these are they that have died before Christ came, in their ignorance, not having salvation declared unto them. And thus the Lord bringeth about the restoration of these; and they have a part in the first resurrection, or have eternal life, being redeemed by the Lord.”
Acts 24:15; “And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.”
It’s no wonder Mormons are always confused. The first resurrection that’ll take place is for everyone. As Paul shows us in this verse everyone is called, and then comes either judgment before God or salvation.
So if everyone that’s ever lived is resurrected and then judged what should this tell the Mormon people about the verse in Mosaih? That verse says some people may not have heard about salvation before their death, but according to the verse in Acts they must have.
