Journal of Discourses 8:222; “I doubt whether it can be found, from the revelations that are given and the facts as they exist, that there is a female in all the regions of hell.” – Brigham Young, Salt Lake City, October 21, 1860
Romans 3:23; “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
Revelation 2:20; “Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.”
There is nothing in any verse from the entire Bible that suggests such a thing as what Brigham Young said here.
If there are no women in hell then where is Jezebel who married the King of Israel Ahab?
And what about the false prophetess mentioned in Revelation who was seducing some of the members in the church at Thyatira? While some commentators believe this false prophetess was also named Jezebel others believe her name was used in a symbolic sense for someone who had the same kind of false spirit.
