Journal of Discourses 2:342; “There is one revelation that this people are not generally acquainted with. I think it has never been published, but probably it will be in the Church History. It is given in questions and answers. The first question is, “What is the name of God in the pure language?” The answer says “Ahman.” “What is the name of the Son of God?” Answer, “Son Ahman—the greatest of all the parts of God excepting Ahman.” “What is the name of men?” “Sons Ahman,” is the answer. “What is the name of angels in the pure language?” “Anglo-man.” – Orson Pratt, Salt Lake City, February 18, 1855
Exodus 23:1; “Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.”
Obviously there is nothing in the Bible to support this man’s claims. The important thing to remember in this is what it says in our bible verse today.
Don’t put your hand with the wicked.
Each day that a Mormon condones the teachings of the Church whether they’re aware of all the teachings or not, they’ve become an unrighteous witness.
Furthermore, is the Church teaching these things today or was this just another false prophecy from an LDS apostle?
