April 8 – Priorities. Philippians 3:10; “That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.”

Being like Jesus entails walking to Jerusalem, just as He did. Are you on your way? The roadblocks encountered should never be the focus of a true disciple. If our focus is on believing what He can do, we’ll soon see how it’s changed our behavior. Is there something in your life He can resurrect, but it’s not happening because of a self-imposed roadblocks? As Christians, we care not for the accolades that our personal triumphs may bring by worldly standards. If we don’t see Jesus actively resurrecting dead stuff inside of us, we’ll never hope for, nor fully appreciate, the power of His resurrection. The only way to do this is by dying to self.
