Exodus 32:3-6, 8; “And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron. 4 And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. 5 And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, To morrow is a feast to the LORD. 6 And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play. They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.”
When Moses and Joshua returned to camp with the second set of Tablets of the Testimony, they found fellow Israelites patiently waiting, which was a far different scene than the one Moses had come upon the first time he had trekked up Mt. Sinai.
Although they were behaving this time around, consequences for their past would carry a heavy toll.
That toll is what I fear will be the end game for my people. Every day I open my e-mail and read about another ungodly event the Church has orchestrated, and the members who follow right along with their unquestioning loyalty. Like the Israelites who haphazardly followed the orders of Aaron, and gave all their worldly possessions to worship a false god, Mormons have done the same at their ceremonies of the Philadelphia Temple opening.
Melissa gave me a heads up about this the other day and sent me the link for a Youtube video she saw online. She asked me what I thought about it, and the first thing that came to mind was the yearly event Muslims take part in with Hajj.
In case you’re unaware, hundreds of thousands of Muslims converge upon Mecca in their holy month, and in unison, walk around the Kaaba (a black, onyx stone) they believe dropped out of heaven at the time of Adam and Eve. The stone is approximately 50’ x 35’ in diameter.
They’re required to kiss the stone, or at least point to it if they can’t get to it because of the crowds, during their counter-clockwise circling around the large stone that sits inside their holy mosque.
For Melissa, the Mormon scene reminded her of the golden calf event we read about in the Bible. After hearing her views on it, I’m hard pressed to choose which of the scenes to choose…sigh…
This Mormon ceremony entails young Mormons walking in a large group to the oversized replica of the Philadelphia Temple where they engage in worship songs about how wonderful the temple is.
You can view the video in full, or to save yourself some time, fast forward to 2:47 to see the moment in question.
Finale of the Philadelphia Temple Youth Celebration
Please, continue to pray for, and witness to the Mormon people. The Lord is hearing the prayers of the true saints, and we’re seeing people come to Him each and every day! PTL!
The most egregious and perturbing fact that remains a lucid reality about the pagan allure of Mormonism is that hundreds of thousands of Americans in the USA will be contacted in 2017, as the same number of souls have been accosted in 2016, by Mormon fulltime missionaries, young men and women generally 18 to 25 years of age, who will present lies and misrepresentations about real Mormon polytheistic theology, doctrine, and history to these, mostly, Christian people. Through non-disclosure of pertinent essential facts about the real pagan theology of Mormonism, these frenetic Mormon agents will probably persuade over a hundred thousand of these duped Christians that Mormonism is Christian in theology, and that eventually going to the Mormon temple will assure their place in the highest degree of Mormon heaven. These poor souls will, a few years down the road, realize the polytheism of Mormon theology and doctrine, and that they were told lies by those Mormon missionaries. The saddest thing that will come of this is that many of these deceived souls who decide to resign from Mormonism will also decide that the real Jesus is no longer worth pursuing and worshipping. Furthermore, the human condition resulting from cognitive dissonance will cause thousands of these duped souls to remain in Mormonism for decades before they, either, resign or become totally inactive.
The ministry of loving Christians should be focused on getting copies of “Lesson 21-Man May Become Like God,” one of the 39 lessons of the 1984 LDS Melchizedek Priesthood Study Guide, “Search These Commandments,” to struggling Christians who have not heard the knocks on their doors from the Mormon fulltime missionaries, or who have not been cajoled by Mormon friends and associates to hear the Mormon missionaries in their homes. What is “Lesson 21-Man May Become Like God?” It was the last published statement of real Mormon polytheistic theology in the 20th Century for study and veneration by the Mormon Melchizedek Priesthood in 1984, and is the essence of the practice of Mormon theology during the 21st Century and beyond. It is a succinct restatement of founding Mormon Prophet Joseph Smith’s 1844 King Follett Discourse and Mormon Prophet Lorenzo Snow’s refinement and exultation of it in the late 1890s. It is affirmed in print as canon Mormon scripture and commandments by the 1984 LDS First Presidency comprised of Prophet, Seer, and Revelator Spencer W. Kimball and his three apostle counselors, N. Eldon Tanner, Marion G. Romney, and Gordon B. Hinckley. This declaration is made on the third page of the study guide, “Search These Commandments.” “Lesson 21-Man May Become Like God” states that 1) God the Father was born a mortal man on some planet in the cosmos; 2) That this human man changed, and changed, and changed to become a Mormon father-god, with a capital G, to create, or organize, a planet, earth, and procreate billions of spirit children with his goddess wife, or wives, who is, or are, known as the heavenly goddess mother(s); 3) That the ultimate destiny of all worthy Mormon elders, who hold the Mormon Melchizedek Priesthood, is to be as great as the Mormon father-god, with a capital G, by becoming, themselves, Mormon father-gods, with a capital G, in the same way that the man born on a planet somewhere in the cosmos became a Mormon father-god, with a capital G.
Anyone who reads this piece of pagan polytheistic heresy to Christianity will immediately realize that Mormonism is not Christian. This is why it needs to be mass-copied and disseminated to all struggling Christians who will, no doubt, come in contact with the Mormon fulltime missionaries sometime in their lives.
I will send-out PDF copies of “Lesson 21-Man May Become Like God” to all Christians who want to receive them. Contact me at email {nrnowlin@yahoo.com}, and I will send them out promptly and freely.
You seem to not understand the difference between celebrating something and worshiping something.
I don’t understand? I am a ex-Mormon elder who served the devil on eight stake missions, one district mission, and as a ward mission leader from 1970 until 2000. I also served the golden calf in the Mormon temple over 300 times as one of those blaspheming temple workers. I kicked against the pricks and against my Lord and Savior Jesus, trying to work my way to the highest Mormon heaven until the Lord drove me to my knees on my own Road to Damascus and then offered his free grace and salvation to me, which I could not refuse. The Holy Spirit has, since that time, led me to know how to refute the greatest abomination and enemy of Jesus’ holy gospel on the earth today, which is the pagan product of lies, deception, and deliberate fraud, Mormonism. Celebration of evil and pagan polytheism is tantamount to its veneration, which, in and of itself, is worshipping the theology of false gods, in believing that mortal man may become a father-god. If the Mormon temple is the epitome of the acclamation of Mormon theology, and the means whereby the ultimate purpose of the pagan Mormon priesthood, created by Joseph Smith and Sydney Rigdon in 1835, is consummated, then, my pagan friend, celebration of it is part and parcel of worshipping it. Send me your email address, and I will send you a copy of “Lesson 21-Man May Become Like God,” if you not afraid to know the truth.
